Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Warrior will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Standridge, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Jerry Wayne Warrior, age 72, of Skiatook, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at his Skiatook residence.

Jerry was born April 28, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Wendall and Dona (Waldrop) Warrior. Jerry grew up and received his education in Shawnee Mission, Kansas where he graduated in 1962 and attended college at Pittsburgh State. Jerry married Sandra Lynn Nash on June 3, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma making their home in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Wagoner and moved to Skiatook in 2015. Jerry was employed with South Western Bell, AT&T and Lucent Technology retiring December 31, 1999. Jerry liked fishing, traveling, loved his grandchildren, watching grandchildren play basketball and tinkering.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother and father and by his sister.

Jerry is survived by his wife Sandra of 39 years, two sons: Brent Warrior and wife Christina and David Ellis and wife Shari, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Austin Campbell, Colby Warrior, Bradlee Warrior, Preston Ellis, Andy Graham and Paul Eoff. Honorary pallbearers will be: Weston Warrior and Tate Piper

The family of Jerry Wayne Warrior entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
