Judith Ann “Judy” Neil

Funeral services for Judy Ann Neil will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the North Point United Pentecostal Church in Sperry with Rev. Kevin Erickson and Wesley Witcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Judy Ann Neil, age 74, of Skiatook, passed away July 7, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Judy was born January 27, 1943 in Tulsa,, Oklahoma to Charlie Lee and LaRue Flocine (Haddock) Crain. Judy grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated with honors in 1961. Judy also attended the R.N. program at the Hillcrest School of Nursing and graduated in August of 1964.  Judy married Lowell Wade Neil on October 16, 1965 in Skiatook where they have made their home since that time.  Judy was employed with Hillcrest Medical Center from 1964 to 1976, and later worked for Skiatook Nursing Home as Nursing Director. Judy and her husband owned and operated Skiatook Greenhouse and Floral from 1975 to 2007. Judy enjoyed oil painting, piano, crocheting, embroidering, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. Judy was a member of the Skiatook Garden Club, Nurses Christian Fellowship and  North Point United Pentecostal Church Sperry.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Judy is survived by her husband: Wade, children: son:  Kevin Neil and wife Tammy of Skiatook, OK and daughter: Kendra Briggs and husband Rick of Double Oak, Texas, siblings: Sandra Viana, Dr. Jerry Crain and Gene Crain, seven grandchildren: Colin Neil, Kayley Briggs, Bryce Neil, Taylor Briggs, Reese Neil, Kaden Neil and Jayda Briggs, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be “I’m Going To A City” and a special song by Ronnie and Lynette Jones, congregational song led by Danny Jones.

Pallbearers will be: Colin Neil, Bryce Neil, Reese Neil, Kaden Neil, James Post and Roby Crain. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Asher and Logan Crain.

The family of Judy Neil entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
