Clayton Keith “Clay” Milliken

Funeral services for Clay Milliken will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Leonard officiating. Private family interment will follow under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Clay Milliken, age 54,  of Tulsa, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at his Tulsa residence.

Clay was born February 25, 1965 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ronald Keith and Donna Charlene (Hendryx) Milliken. Clay grew up and received his education in Skiatook, moved to South Dakota and attended College at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. Clay married Pamela Fugate in 1981 and they were married 10 years. Clay proudly  joined the US Army in 1982 where he was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA where he received the highest award one may receive for weapons qualification. Shortly afterwards he was deployed 3 years to Ft. Clayton in the Panama Canal Zone. He was in the Jungle Forces and was sent to train the Nicaraguans.  He loved to travel and lived in many different states. Clay moved back to Tulsa in 2012 where he has made his home since that time. Clay has been employed with the Post Office in Tulsa for the past five years. Clay loved to go hunting, fishing, hiking, bike riding and just loved the outdoors life.

Clay is survived by his three children; Jessi Altom and husband Eddie, Blake Milliken and wife Alexis and Trish Thomas and husband John, grandchildren; Cassidy Britton and husband Alex, Zane Milliken, Brennan Vaughn, Wyatt Thomas, Jacob Milliken and Izzy Milliken, mother Donna Craig and husband Robert, Grandmother Lucille Hendryx; Father Ron Milliken, half- sister Maddi Milliken, step-brother Kenny Craig and wife Heather and niece Presley. He had two dogs that he loved and cared for very much and were his best friends Maria and Katie,  and a host of other relatives and friends.

Clay was proceeded in death by his beloved Grandfather “Poppie” Lester C. Hendryx

Music for the services will be: “Hey I’m A Believer Now”, “Precious Memories” “Go Rest Mountain” and “Tears In Heaven”.

Pallbearers will be: Blake Milliken, Roger Hendryx, Kevin Hendryx, John Thomas, Eddie Altom, and Alex Britton

The family of Clay Milliken entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
