Funeral services for Eddie Jim Tandy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2017 at the Osage Gardens Veterans Memorial Building. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Eddie was born May 25, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Kansas to Clarence and Anna Mae (McClelland) Tandy. Eddie grew up and received his education in Missouri. Eddie married Barbara Sue Cox on January 28 1960 in Miami, Oklahoma making their home in Skiatook since 2013. Eddie was a mechanic by trade working on stock cars and private individual’s cars. Eddie liked to go to the races in Kellyville and enjoyed living at West Oak Village, playing bingo and spending time with people.

Eddie was preceded in death by his mother and father, one grandson: Triston Buttrey, great nephew Jason Wayne Smith, three brothers and by his sister.

Eddie is survived by his two daughters: Brenda Kay Hulbey and Pamela Ann Buttrey, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers for the services will be: Troy Buttrey, Michael Redfern, Andrew Richards, Richard Hulvey, Dewayne Wells and Scott Keeling.

The family of Eddie Tandy entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
