Funeral services for Karol Norwood will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 26, 2019 at Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Nielson officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Karol Norwood, age 63, of Skiatook, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville.

Karol Norwood was born February 3, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Carl Willard and Elizabeth Ann (Guilfoyle) Sauer. Karol grew up and received her education in Owasso where she graduated in 1975. She married Daniel “Danny” Martin Norwood on September 1, 1981 in Tulsa. They made their home in Skiatook and Karol was a homemaker. Karol enjoyed crocheting and working puzzles. She loved African Violets and Dr. Pepper, and she was an avid O.U. fan.  

Karol was preceded in death by her father: Carl, husband: Danny, and sister: Karen Marie Sauer.

Karol is survived by her children: Rachel Norwood and Karrie Paul her mother: Elizabeth Sauer, siblings: Mary Katherine Smith, Karla Ann Fitzloff, Elizabeth Diane Williams, Carl Joseph Sauer, and Steven Gary Sauer, four grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

 Music for the services will be: “Amazing Grace”, “Goodbye’s The Saddest Word”, “Supermarket Flowers”, I Hope You Dance”, and “In The Arms of An Angel”.

 Pallbearers for the service will be: Jason Fitzloff, Joe Sauer, David Correa, Jose Correa.
