M.D. “Dogg” Collins

Funeral services for M.D. “Dogg” Collins will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at the Skiatook Christian Church with Pastor Trey Harper officiating. Private family interment will be held.

M.D. “Dogg” Collins passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Skiatook from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Dogg was born October 11, 1957 in Monticello, Indiana to Charles W. and Helen Joyce (Luse) Collins. Dogg grew up and received his education in Monticello, Indiana. Dogg also received his paralegal also in Indiana. Dogg married Flora Jean (Tullis) on April 16, 1996 in Michigan City, Indiana making their home in Skiatook. Dogg owned and operated Dogg’s Lawn care and Tree Service in Skiatook for the past 18 years. Dogg loved riding his motorcycle,NASCAR, loved to visit with people and torment people in a fun way and going to biker rallIES. Dogg had a passion of helping people organizing toy runs for kids at Christmas time and helping with benefits that would help people.

Dogg was preceded in death by his mother and father, one sister: Rejina Hurd, two brothers: Phillip Collins and Ronnie Collins and by one son: Tommy Hartman.

Dogg is survived by his wife: Flora Collins, one brother: David Hurd, step-children: Tara Moran and husband Mark and Natasha Mitchell and husband Richard, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.

Music for the service will be: Cain's Blood, Angels Among Us, When I Get To Where I’m Going, I’m The Hell My Mama Ever Raised, See You Again and  Life Is A Highway.

Pallbearers for the services will be: Randy Sien, Lee Prince, Lane Newton, Anthony Weathers, Marty Tucker and Adam Crase.

The family of M.D. “Dogg” Collins has entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

 A memorial has been established in the memory of M.D. "Dogg" Collins, those who wish to contribute in his memory may do so to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home by coming by the office, calling or may be sent to P.O. Box 655 Skiatook, OK 74070.
