Michael Reed Jackson

Funeral services for Michael Jackson will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Killman officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Michael Jackson, age 71, of Skiatook passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his Skiatook residence.

Michael was born March 26, 1946 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Cecil Otis and Barbara (Shaw) Jackson. Michael grew up and received his education in Skiatook where he graduated in 1965. Michael married Frances Laverne Harrison on August 25, 1968 in Hartsville, TN making their home in Tulsa and Skiatook since 1980. Michael was employed as a fitter welder with Tower Components where he was currently employed. Michael liked hunting and fishing and was an avid O.U. fan.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother and father, one brother and by one grandson.

Michael is survived by his wife: Frances of the home, children: John Kevin Jackson, and wife Debbie, Jackie Joseph Jackson and wife Gayla, Jimmy Lynn Jackson, Justin Gale Jackson, Janet Sue Bailey and husband Ron, Judy Ophelia Canavan and husband Mike and Michael Reed Jackson Jr, one brother: Kenny Brown and stepmother: Dorothy Jackson, 15 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren several great – great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be: John Kevin Jackson, Jackie Joseph Jackson, Jimmy Lynn Jackson, Justin Gale Jackson, Michael Reed Jackson Jr, Michael Jackson III, Shaw Jackson  Ronnie Bailey Jr. and Kevin Surrett Jr.

Music for the services will be: Lights Of Home, Anchor Holds Me, Lead Me Home and Go Rest High On That Mountain.

The family of Michael Jackson entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
