Funeral services for Mae Kilpatrick will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jesse Madaffari officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Mae Kilpatrick, age 94 passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 in Broken Arrow.

Mae was born June 27, 1923 in Bunch, Oklahoma to Jesse and Sarah Ellen (Bruce) Richardson. Mae grew up and received her elementary education in Lincoln, Arkansas and graduated from high school in Stillwell in 1941. Mae also attended Draughon Business School in Tulsa where she received her Associates Degree in Business. Mae married Fred Zimpel February 2, 1948 in Tulsa where they made their home. In 1975 Mae married Robert E. Kilpatrick making their home in Skiatook until she moved to Jenks in 2000. Mae was employed with the United States Forrest Services for 25 years where she was an Account and Voucher Clerk. Mae had also been employed with Car Parts and Machine where she was in accounting for five years and Big Heart Oil for 10 years before finally retiring.  Mae liked spending time with her family, going to church, traveling, cooking and canning, gardening and spoiling her grandchildren.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Sarah Richardson, husband: Fred Zimpel, husband: Robert E. Kilpatrick, one brother, one sister and by one grandchild.

Mae is survived by her children: David Zimpel, Ruth Smith and Daniel Zimpel, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Mae Kilpatrick entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
