Funeral services for Nancy Ann Middleton will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Skiatook Assembly Of God Church with Derrel Harris and Pastor Eddie McElhannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Nancy Middleton, age 80, of Skiatook, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 in Tulsa.

Nancy was born January 5, 1939 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Mary Vina May (Willhite) Shelton. Nancy grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated in 1957. Nancy married Ernie Middleton on May 7, 1977 in Skiatook where they made their home. Nancy was a homemaker and a child care provider. Nancy loved spending time with her kids, grandchildren and her daycare kids. Nancy loved taking pictures, playing Pac Man and playing Gameboy.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Ernie, two brothers; George Shelton and Kenneth “Red” Shelton and by one sister; Laquita Shelton.

Nancy is survived by her children; Virgil Ray Mitchell and Sheila Harris, brothers; Calvin Shelton, Virgil “Cub” Shelton and Clifton Shelton, sisters; Dorlean Bearden, Peggy Killion, Vi Nail, Hope Flatt, Joyce Barlow, step-children; Gayle Anders, Dorene Rivera and DeWayne Middleton, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers for the services will be: Elijah Harris, Robert Mitchell, Curtis Brecken, Jerry Ridenour, Manuel Rangel, Clayton Shelton, James Brecken and Joey Brecken.

The family of Nancy Middleton entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
