Dear Uncle Dick! I am going to miss him.He was both very compassionate and intelligent. We had some Great family reunions. I am so glad that it was more than just being a relative. He really took an interest in me when I was growing up.And through out my entire life. You also felt the same way about all your family members.I really enjoyed talking about sports and my life with Uncle Dick.

This is a sad moment.May he RIP

Uncle Dick was very important in my life and I will miss him so much.  My memories of him are from numerous family reunions at Osage Hills.  Of all my relatives he reached out to me and made me feel special and cared for from a young age. I will never forget how loving he was--he was so concerned about me as a child that he even somehow got me to play sports.  I was a terrible athlete and had somehow come to fear sports. What I remember is that he was so gentle and somehow made me less scared to play and he really made it fun for me (which is no easy task!)
He was a great character, full of humor and love.  He challenged me to think beyond city mouse/country mouse thinking and taught me that family ties matter more than anything.
His spirit will live on in my memory forever.  I will miss him so much!!
