Funeral services for Roy Gene Gaddy will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Sperry Community Of Christ Church. Services will be presided by Phyllis Gaddy, obituary given by Connie Bias and message by Brad Gaddy. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Roy Gene Gaddy, age 83, of Sperry, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his Sperry residence.

Roy was born September 21, 1935 in Sperry, Oklahoma to Richard and Helen (Williamson) Gaddy. Roy grew up and received his education in Sperry where he graduated with the Class of 1953. Roy also attended the University of Tulsa where he received his Associates Degree. Roy married Gwendolyn Phillips on October 7, 1954 in Sperry where they had continued to make their home. Roy was a salesman in Carpet and pad and finished his last working for Carpenter Company. Roy had also been employed with Sam’s Club in Owasso where he was a door greeter for the past seven years. Roy had also been employed with Lowe’s in Owasso. Roy was a magician that loved entertaining others and also enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, and traveling. Roy was a member of the Sperry Community Of Christ Church. Roy loved going to the annual church camps where he loved to visit with everybody that came and would minister to those in need.

Roy was preceded in death by his mother and father and one son Gail Gene Gaddy.

Roy is survived by his wife; Gwendolyn Gaddy, his children Richard Lee Gaddy of Palm Springs, California, and Bradley Allen Gaddy of Skiatook, Oklahoma, brother; Donald Gaddy, four grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Roy Gene Gaddy entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
