William Monroe “Billy” Reddell

Funeral services for Billy Reddell will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Billy Reddell, age 84, of Avant, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the St. John Medical center in Tulsa.

Billy was born January 23, 1934 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to William Ogan and Opal (Buchanan) Reddell. Billy grew up and received his education in Sublette, Kansas graduating in 1953. Billy entered into the United States Army August 4, 1953 and received his honorable discharge on August 3, 1956 serving in the Korean War. Billy married Martha Beth Daniels on August 4, 1959. Billy was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone where he was a subcontractor for 40 years.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife: Martha Beth Reddell, stepmother Sally Morgan Reddell, sister: Rosa Gilchrist, brother: Bob Reddell, nephews: Alan Reddell, Rocky Gilchrist and Robby Gilchrist.

Billy is survived by his daughters: Mina Faye (Reddell) Mosley and husband Eddie and Helen Marie Reddell, sisters: Ruby Hockett and Sandra Kay Kohlmeyer, brother-in-law: Robert Earl Gilchrist and sister-in-law: Marie Reddell, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “In The Garden”, “Amazing Grace” and “Go Rest High On That Mountain”.

Pallbearers will be: Bryan Daniels, Ray-Don Daniels, Jerry Wayne Ragan, Shane Ragan, Josh Keen and Jack Francis. Honorary pallbearers will be: Mark Reddell, Bill Hockett, Rick Hockett, Chad Reddell and Jerad Reddell.

The family of “Billy” Reddell entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
