Barbara Jean Francis


Barbara Jean Francis, age 70, of Skiatook, died at 9:48 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Barbara was born August 14, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Warren Gene and Vivian Doreen (Taylor) Davis. Barbara grew up and received her education in Skiatook. Barbara married David Francis Sr. in 1961 and made their home in Skiatook and he preceded her in death in 1979. Barbara met Bobby McKay  and they made their home in Skiatook and he preceded her in death in 2003. Barbara was employed with Wal-Mart when they first opened in Skiatook and was currently an associate their at the time of her death. Barbara liked sewing, walking and crafts.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband and by one brother.

Barbara is survived by her children: Bonnie Fugate of Claremore, David Francis Jr. of Skiatook, Jennifer Doreen Marcom of Skiatook and Matt McKay of Owasso, one sister; Becky Keeling of Skiatook, one brother; Richard davis and wife Wanda of Skiatook, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts are; David Francis Jr., Matt McKay, Bryce Francis, Jake Fugate, Cody McKay, Shane Davis.

Music for the services: “I’ll Fly Away” and “I Had The Time Of My Life”.


Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
