Barbara A. Fuller

Barbara A. Fuller, a beloved member of the Skiatook community, passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 88, in her hometown of Skiatook, Oklahoma. Born on June 5, 1937, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Willie Lee and Helen Catherine (Cripps) Baker, Barbara grew up in Skiatook, where she received her education and developed a deep love for her community and its connections.

Barbara was married to Vernon Vanoy Fuller on October 27, 1957, marking the beginning of a cherished partnership that would last for decades. She had a vibrant career, beginning her journey in the theater where she first met Vernon. Her professional life also included her role as a telephone operator and her dedication as a homemaker, where she nurtured her family with love and care.

A proud member of the First United Methodist Church of Skiatook, Barbara was involved in her church community, embodying the spirit of kindness and faith. She cherished her hobbies, which included solving wordsearch puzzles, indulging in classic black and white cowboy movies, and exploring garage sales, where she delighted in finding hidden treasures.

Barbara was surrounded by a loving family who will remember her fondly. She is survived by her two sons, Kevin Fuller and his wife Patty, and Max Fuller. Barbara was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren: Lindsey Fuller, Brittany Fuller, Melody Fuller, and Joy Fuller. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces and nephews, alongside a host of other relatives and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Helen Baker, who instilled in her values of hard work and dedication that she carried throughout her life. Her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Visitation with family will be held on February 3, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1000 South Lombard Lane, Skiatook, OK 74070. A funeral service will take place at the First United Methodist Church of Skiatook on February 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with a final farewell to honor her life and legacy.

Barbara A. Fuller will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with everyone around her. She has left an indelible mark on the lives she touched, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who remain.
