Bernetta Susan Hicks

Bernetta Susan Hicks, known to many as Susan, passed away on October 28, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on September 29, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Susan will be remembered for the simple joys that brought warmth and comfort to her life. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening, and she had a special love for her cats. These interests reflected a caring spirit and a home-centered life, marked by creativity, patience, and affection.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Hicks and Dalton Hicks, her brother, Charles Lincks, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Their lives carry forward her memory, her love, and the many moments they shared together.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Michael Lincks Sr.; her mother, Burnettie (Smith) Lincks; her brother, Michael Lincks Jr.; her son, Thomas Hicks; and her grandsons, Tyler Hicks and Austin Hicks. As her family remembers her, they also hold close the loved ones who welcomed her home.
