Funeral services for Bertie Bearden will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Sien-Shelton funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doyle Brummett officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Bertie Louise Bearden was born October 28, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bence and Ruby Keys. Bertie grew up and received her education in Skiatook. Bertie married Leo Earnest Bearden in 1950 in Skiatook. Bertie was employed with Zebco, Nordam, McDonnell Douglass and American Airlines where she retired from in 1995. Bertie liked going fishing, camping, taking care of her mother and being a good wife and mother.

Bertie was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, one son, one sister, one brother and by one great granddaughter.

Bertie is survived by her two sons: Lonnie Bearden and Terry Bearden, one sister-in-law Dorleen Bearden, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Amazing Grace” and “Momma Prayed.”

Pallbearers will be: Lonnie “Bo” Bearden Jr., Terry Bearden, Doug Gaddis, Phillip Gaddis, Lonnie Bearden III and Ryan Gaddis.

The family of Bertie L. Bearden entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
