Billy Dale Westmoland, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, at the age of 90 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Born on December 12, 1935, in Oak Grove, Oklahoma to John Manfield and Ruby Earl (Samford) Westmoland, Bill was a lifelong resident of the area, where he grew up and received his education in Skiatook, graduating in 1954.

Bill dedicated much of his life to his career as an Offset Printer, employed with McDonald Douglas, and also served as a mailman. Known for his strong work ethic and friendly disposition, he touched many lives throughout his professional journey.

On January 18, 1954, Bill married E. Darlene Basse in Sperry, Oklahoma. Together, they created a loving home in Sperry and Skiatook, where they spent their 71 years of marriage. Bill was a devoted husband and father, who carried a deep love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Westmoland; son, Steven Westmoland; brother, Ted Westmoland and his wife, Lenora; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.

Bill was known for his passion for sports and music. He had a special talent for singing, possessing what many called the voice of an angel. His love for music was matched only by his love for helping others. He frequently delivered food to anyone in need and considered everyone around him part of his extended family, coming from a large family himself.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Westmoland; daughter, Renda Westmoland; and son, Doug Westmoland.

A visitation with family will be held on December 30, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1000 South Lombard Lane, Skiatook, OK 74070. A funeral service will take place the following day, December 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Community of Christ Church in Sperry, located at 202 West Main Street, Sperry, OK 74073.

Music honoring Bill's life will include "I Am Healed" performed by the GR's, along with "I Can't Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand" and "Me and God." Bill’s journey will also be remembered through the service's pallbearers: Jim Basse, John Basse, Tony Bauhaus, Joe Marrs, Matt Williamson, James Webster and Mike Eller. Additionally, honorable pallbearers include Ted Westmoland, Ronnie Westmoland, Eric Smoot, Layne Waller, Loudin Akin, and Will Waller.

Bill Westmoland will be deeply missed by all who knew him, yet his profound impact on their lives will remain ever-present in their hearts.
