Carol L. Cox, age 82, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, August 27, 2020 in Tulsa.

Carol was born December 20, 1937 in Sand Ringwood, Oklahoma to John and Evelyn (Arthur) Dimmick. Carol grew up and received her education in Sand Springs where she graduated with the class of 1955. Carol married Clarence Edward Cox Sr. on June 14, 1961 in Hominy, Oklahoma. Carol was employed with Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa where she was a cook. Carol liked to sew, knit, crocheting and working in her garden.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother and father; one daughter; Cecilia Marie Turner, one grandchild; Devon Dean, one sister and by two brothers.

Carol is survived by her husband of 59 years Clarence, one son; Clarence Edward Cox Jr., six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Carol Cox entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook.
