Clyde Leon Morland, a beloved husband, step-father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, in his hometown of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was born on September 24, 1942, in Bartlesville, to Tully Scott Morland and Lucina Catherine (Jones) Morland. Clyde's life was marked by hard work, dedication, and a deep commitment to his family and faith.
Throughout his career, Clyde served as a machinist at various machine shops, where he earned the respect of his colleagues through his skill and work ethic. His professional journey was complemented by his personal passions, which included fishing and studying his Bible. These interests reflected his love for nature and his deep spirituality.
On January 4, 1994, Clyde married Johnnie Mae Cook in a ceremony that took place in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Their union brought together two families and established a lasting bond as they shared their lives together. Clyde is survived by his cherished wife, Johnnie Morland, and his step-daughters, Jacquelyn Yocham and Patricia Lott, and several grandkids and great grandkids who he adored. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Beverly Goebel.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Tully and Lucina Morland, his step-son, Cecil Gullett III, and seven siblings. Though he is no longer with us, Clyde’s memory will forever live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered not only for his unwavering dedication to his work and family but also for his kind spirit and gentle demeanor. His legacy will continue to inspire those he touched throughout his life.
