Courtland Aaron Williams, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 29, 2026, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 83.
Born on January 23, 1943, to Courtland Averill and Myrtle Anna (Whitney) Williams Courtland's life was marked by hard work and dedication. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964, a period that shaped his character and instilled a sense of duty that carried throughout his life. Following his military service, he became a taxi cab driver and undertook carpentry work, but it was his passion for working on dairy farms that brought him immense joy and fulfillment.
Courtland was a man of diverse interests. He found pleasure in playing computer games, which offered him a form of relaxation and entertainment. Additionally, he took great pride in working in his yard, nurturing its beauty and cultivating a space where family and friends could gather. His love for watching movies provided countless hours of enjoyment, allowing him to explore different worlds and stories from the comfort of his home.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ann Williams, along with children, Christopher Catlett and his wife Eva, and Lee Catlett and his wife Robin, Angela Williams, Courtland Williams and John Williams and Steven Williams, brothers, Dennis Williams, Clarence Williams, William Williams, James Williams, sisters, Patricia Davis, Kathy Davis and Lori Williams. Courtland was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with his three great-grandchildren. His legacy will continue through them and the many relatives and friends who were fortunate to know him.
Courtland was preceded in death by his parents Courtland and Myrtle Williams, sister, Linda Williams and sister, Lenora Carlson., whose memories will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved. As we remember Courtland Aaron Williams, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, a heart full of love, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends. His spirit will be deeply missed but cherished in the memories of all who knew him.
