Danny Dennis Sunday

Danny Dennis Sunday, 79, of Terlton, Oklahoma, passed away on October 30, 2026, in Terlton. He was born on November 24, 1946, in Talala, Oklahoma to Brian and Lura (McMillan) Sunday.

Dennis grew up in Oologah, Oklahoma, where he received his education and graduated from Oologah High School in 1965. He later served his country as a member of the United States Army. In his working years, he was an operations manager with Bundy Bumper before his retirement.

He found happiness in the simple and lasting pleasures of life. Dennis enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. Those who knew him will remember a man whose life was rooted in hard work, service, and the people he loved most.

Above all, Dennis treasured his family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ruth (Chambers) Sunday; his son, Dennis Sunday; and his daughter, Patricia Priebe. He is also survived by his sisters, Joyce Brunson, Lorene Tucker, Patsy Douthit, and Candy Mitchell, and by his brother, Randy Sunday and nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Their lives were enriched by his presence, and his memory will remain a lasting part of the family he loved so deeply.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brian Sunday, and his mother, Lura Sunday; by his brothers, Leo Sunday, Bobby Sunday, and Billy Sunday; by his sisters, Earlene Tucker, Sandra Sunday, and Lois Sunday; by his daughter, Chandra Jones; and by his granddaughter, Faith Priebe.

Dennis will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew him. His life was one of devotion to family, dedication to his work, and enjoyment of the everyday blessings that brought him peace and joy.
