David Quinton Austin, born on August 7, 1968, in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Phyllis Ann (Daniels) Austin and James Robert Austin Sr. passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A dedicated professional, David spent his career as a welder/fitter for Valmont at the Port of Catoosa, where he was known for his skill and dedication.

David grew up in Skiatook, where he received his education and formed many lasting memories. He carried the values and experiences from his youth throughout his life, nurturing a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. He was passionate about fishing and hunting, often spending cherished moments outdoors, indulging in his love for adventure. In addition to these pursuits, David enjoyed playing video games, which brought him joy and engaged his strategic mind.

He is survived by his two beloved children, Cory Joe Austin and Ashley Austin, who were the pride and joy of his life. David is also mourned by his sister, Phyllis "Diane" Mayberry, and his brother, James Robert Austin Jr. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will all remember him fondly.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis Ann and James Robert Austin Sr., who remain in the hearts of those he left behind.

David Austin's warmth, kindness, and love for life will be missed dearly by all who knew him. His legacy will continue to live on through the memories, laughter, and stories shared by family and friends.
