Diana Irene Talbott, affectionately known as Ann, was born on January 20, 1958, in Vinita, Oklahoma to Bill and Wilma (Parnell) Reed. She grew up in Vinita and continued to make her mark in the world through her career in home health care, as well as her joyful spirit while working as a waitress for Cracker Barrel and Moms Restaurant.
Throughout her life, Ann embraced her love for fishing, playing bingo, and frequenting the casinos. These hobbies brought her much joy and happiness, reflecting her vibrant personality and her ability to find pleasure in life's simple moments.
On October 6, 1980, she married Danny Talbott in Ottawa County, embarking on a journey filled with love and family. Ann devoted herself not only to her work but also to her family, raising three children: Martin Henry, Johnny Talbott, and Delaney Hicks. She was a nurturing mother and a beloved figure in the lives of her six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, giving them the warmth and support that only a grandmother can.
Ann is survived by her mother, Wilma Scott; her siblings, Wilma Briley, Cherry Roush, and Bobby Scott; as well as several nieces, nephews, and an extended family of relatives and friends whose lives she touched throughout her years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Reed; her husband, Danny Talbott; her brother, William Reed; and her sisters, Sammie Waldrop and Billie Slaughter.
Ann passed away on June 2, 2025, in Tulsa, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Visitation with family will be held at Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook on June 4, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at Vera Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Vera on June 5, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM. Ann will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, her dedication to family, and her joyful approach to life.
