Donna "Sue" Badley, born on June 12, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Homer and Emma Kathryn (Morgan) Hendryx, passed away on September 16, 2025, in Coweta, Oklahoma. A beloved member of her community, Sue dedicated over 30 years of her professional life as a bookkeeper and secretary at the family business, BS Motor Company.
Sue grew up in Skiatook, where she also received her education. Her warm and caring nature extended beyond her career; she was passionate about several hobbies, including traveling, gardening in her yard, and spending quality time with her grandbabies. Sue had a fondness for visiting casinos, going camping, and fishing, activities that brought her immense joy and created lasting memories with her family.
Sue is survived by her children, James Lindsey and his wife Kristi, Kathryn Elmore and her husband Tommy, Jeff Badley and his wife Susan, Stephen Badley, and Rodney Badley and his wife Tommie. She cherished her role as a grandmother to nine grandchildren: Jaymi Bowman, TJ Elmore, Emma Lindsey, Chris Badley, Will Badley, Dan Badley, Will Lindsey, Gracie Badley, and Savannah Badley. In addition, she leaves behind five great-grandchildren: Chloe Bowman, Laureli "Bell" Bowman, Kennedy Badley, Crawford Badley, and Knox Badley. Sue is also survived by her sister, Yvonne Roberts, as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Kathryn Hendryx; her husbands, James Lindsey and Michael Badley; and four brothers, Ralph Hendryx, Don Hendryx, Bob Hendryx, and Dean Hendryx. Sue also mourned the loss of five sisters, Louise Ecker, Nina Peak, Virginia Hendryx, Kay Grieshaber, and Phyllis Bartmess.
