Edmond was a proud graduate of Rogers High School, completing his education in 1973 in his hometown of Tulsa. He dedicated much of his life to his career as a welder at Pro-Fab Inc., where his craftsmanship and work ethic were respected by his colleagues.

On September 13, 1991, he married Cheryl Ann Matheny, creating a bond that blessed their lives with love and joy. They built their home in Tulsa, where they shared many cherished memories. He had a special appreciation for watching westerns, a pastime that reflected his love for storytelling and the adventure of life. He was also a dedicated companion to his dog, Max, who brought him immense joy and comfort.

Edmond was the proud father of five children: Christina Thomas, Michelle Thomas, Tiffeny Thomas-McInturf, Billy Joe Thomas, and Brandi Jean Walker-Kaufman. He was also a loving brother to James Michael Thomas. His legacy is further enriched by his fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who brought light and love into his life, along with a host of other relatives and friends who will remember him fondly.
