WATERLOO – Eleanor "Ellie" V. Roloson Hefferon Baker, passed away Wednesday January 29, 2026, at the North County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Collinsville, OK.
In keeping with Eleanor's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday June 27, in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
Eleanor was born June 28, 1938, in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of Floyd and Elsie Craig Roloson. Eleanor was employed for many years with Zotos International in Geneva, NY. She was also employed with the Holiday Inn in Waterloo, NY. While living in the Binghamton area, Eleanor was worked for the Elderly Care from Home Agency. After marrying her second husband, Paul W. Baker, Sr. Eleanor traveled with Paul who was employed as an over the road trucker. Eleanor also worked form the Dutch Village Restaurant in Clymer, NY.
She is survived by sons David Hefferon and Aaron (JoAnn) C. Hefferon both of Waterloo, NY and Timothy Hefferon of Skiatook, OK; her caregiver who was much like a daughter Angel Autrey of Skiatook, OK; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; stepchildren Paul W. (Jennifer) Baker, Jr. of Chautauqua Co, Carol (Dave) Jones of OH, Roxanne Baker of Corry, PA, Mark Baker, and Rhonda Baker of Clymer, NY; sister-in-law Janice Roloson of Waterloo, NY; brother-in-law Charles Hefferon of Waterloo, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents; first husband Walter P. Hefferon, Jr. and her second husband Paul W. Baker, Sr.; son Walter A. Hefferon; stepson Brian Baker; brothers Ronald (Kate) Roloson and Raymond Roloson; and sister Marilyn (Don) Rice.
