Evelyn Reed, age 91, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Evelyn was born May 3, 1929 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Lincoln and Molly (Armstrong) Kimmel. Evelyn grew up and received her education in Quitaque, Texas where she graduated from High School. Evelyn married James Wesley Reed Sr. on August 31, 1947 in Happy, Texas. They made their home in Texas and Oklahoma. Evelyn was a farm wife, she was the first woman EMT in Skiatook and she was employed with Skiatook Nursing Home where she retired as an administrator. Evelyn was a member of the Riveted Church of Skiatook.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother and father: Lincoln and Molly, Son: David L. Reed, brothers: Walter Kimmel and Fritz Kimmel and sister: Janie Hayes.

Evelyn is survived by her Children: James Wesley Reed Jr., Rebecca F. Reed, Molly E. Davis and husband Mike, daughter-in-law: Renee Reed, brother: Y.L. Kimmel, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren 6 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Evelyn Reed entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook.
