Fannie “Louise” Schlosser's life was defined by her immense heart and her unwavering love for her family. She passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving behind a legacy of devotion that touched everyone who knew her. Born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, on March 24, 1943, To John and Fannie Butler. She was the 2nd born of six children and was known for nurturing her brothers and sister.
Her story began with a glance at a shorts contest in 1960. When Ned Schlosser saw Louise at the Brookside Shorts Contest, he knew he had to meet her and told his friend he was going to marry that girl. He asked around until he found an introduction, and from that day forward, they were inseparable. They married on March 17, 1962, and shared a marriage of 41 years filled with love and partnership.
While Louise briefly taught ballroom dancing at Skilly’s, her true calling was motherhood. She dedicated her life to raising her three children, Paul, Kay, and Cindy, and later helped Ned run their Tulsa Cheerleading Clinic. Her compassion led her to open an in-home daycare for over 25 years, where she became a second mother to generations of children, a bond she cherished and maintained throughout her life.
Louise embraced her role as "G-moma," a name lovingly given to her by her grandson Blake, which all the grandchildren soon began calling her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—camping, fishing, and water skiing—but her deepest connection, other than her family was with her horse. Her final years were spent caring for her cherished horse, Charlie, a relationship that brought her immense peace and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Schlosser; her parents, John and Fannie Butler; and her brothers, John, Ronny, and Donny. Louise is lovingly remembered by her children, Paul (Tonya), Kay (Terry), Cindy (Phil); and her bonus daughter, Stacey (Mark); her grandchildren, Zach (Melissa), Blake (Alicia), Brittnie (Garrett), Kacey (Andrey), Caleb (Grace), Cooper, Joseph, Jacob (kenzie) and bonus granddaughter Bailey (Cory); her great-grandchildren, Daxton, Paisley, Remington, Harper, Felicity, Oliver, baby Augustine, due to arrive this year and bonus great grandchild Bennett.
