Gregory David Romans, a cherished father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 26, 2025, in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Born on May 21, 1970, in Okinawa, Japan, to Larry David and Donna Jean (Chesnut) Romans, Gregory brought joy and warmth to the lives of all who knew him.
Gregory grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he received his education and graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1988. He dedicated a significant portion of his career to working as a factory worker at Webco, where his efforts and commitment contributed greatly to his team's success.
In 1989, Gregory married Lisa Ellison, in Tulsa, where they made their home. They welcomed three children into their family: Corey David Romans, Candace Marie Mikesell, and Chase Alexander Romans. Gregory took immense pride in his role as a father, often engaging in activities that inspired his children and fostered their interests.
Outside of his professional life, Gregory was a man of many passions. He enjoyed scuba diving and cooking, pursuits that showcased his adventurous spirit and creativity. His hobbies also included building rifles, camping, and riding motorcycles, reflecting his love for the outdoors and living life to the fullest.
He is survived by his loving parents, Larry David Romans and Donna Jean (Chesnut) Romans; his sister, Cynthia Young; and his beloved children. Gregory was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra June (Romans) Scott, and his nephew, Austin Scott Romans, whom he held dear in his heart.
Gregory David Romans will be remembered for his kindness, his adventurous soul, and the love he shared with his family. His legacy will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him.
