Ivory Tanner, born on July 29, 1955, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose steadfast spirit and enduring love left a meaningful impact on all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Ivory demonstrated remarkable strength and determination. Her dedication to her work was evident in her career in construction, where she contributed her talents and hard work to the projects she helped bring to fruition. Her commitment and perseverance in this demanding field serve as a testament to her resilience and steadfastness.

Ivory’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Amber Tanner, and son-in-law, who was a constant source of pride and happiness. Ivory cherished her role as a grandmother and took immense delight in spending time with her grandchildren: Hayley Tanner, Hayden Tanner, Harmony Tanner, and Ivoryanna Tanner. Each moment shared with them was a treasured gift, and her legacy will continue through the values and memories she instilled in them.

Ivory is reunited in peace with loved ones who preceded her, including one grandchild, her father, Luther Lee Tanner; her mother, Capitoia Jean Tanner; as well as a brother and a sister.

Ivory Tanner’s life was a vibrant testament to resilience, compassion, and devotion to family. Those who were fortunate to know her will remember her strength, her gentle guidance, and the unwavering love she gave so freely.
