Following high school, Jason pursued higher education at the University of Central Oklahoma and Southeastern Oklahoma State, laying a strong foundation for his future career.
A respected crane operator for Local Union 627 in Tulsa, Jason was both skilled and committed in his work, earning the respect of his colleagues and peers in the industry. In addition to his professional achievements, he proudly served his country in both the Navy and the Army National Guard, embodying the virtues of service and dedication.
On July 4, 2025, he married Lynn Renee' (Davis) Egan, creating a partnership rooted in love and mutual respect. Together, they built a life filled with shared promises and cherished memories.
Jason's vibrant personality was reflected in his many hobbies and interests. He found joy in motorcycle riding and exploring the great outdoors through landscaping, skin diving, and spear fishing. A lover of music, cinema and an engaged citizen, he took a keen interest in politics. But above all, his heart belonged to his family. Jason delighted in spending time with his grandchildren William, Sarah, Raylee, and Jameson as he played with them, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Lynn Egan; children, Kaelyb Norrid and Darron Norrid; stepdaughter: Rhea Dickey and her husband Vince, parents, Gary Lee Norrid and Mary Sue (Morrow) Norrid; brother, Clint Norrid and his wife Colleen; and grandchildren, William Norrid, Sarah Norrid, Raylee Norrid, and Jameson Dickey.
Jason Lee Norrid leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His family and friends remember him for his unwavering spirit and the joy he brought to their lives.
