Karolyn Sue Morris ( Reeves), born on February 7, 1940, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to William Buchanan and Maggie Jewell (Austin) Reeves, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Karolyn’s life was defined by steadfast devotion to her family, commitment to her work, and an unwavering kindness that touched all who knew her.

Karolyn grew up in Skiatook, Oklahoma, where she built the foundation for the remarkable woman she would become. She pursued her education in Skiatook, graduating in the class of 1957, forging enduring friendships and values that would shape her character and her journey through life.

Early in her professional life, Karolyn dedicated her talents to the accounting department at Century Geophysical. Through her dedication and work ethic, she earned the respect of her colleagues and made valuable contributions to the company. Her commitment to excellence was evident in every task she undertook.

Central to Karolyn’s heart was her family. She cherished every moment spent surrounded by her loved ones—these were the times she held most dear. Karolyn was the beloved wife of Jimmie Lee Morris, whose partnership was a source of deep strength and joy. Her legacy lives on through her son, Walter, and daughter-in-law, Cindy; three grandchildren, Teri Baker and husband Michael, Michael Morris and wife Kaci and Jayme Schmidt and husband Tyler, great-grandchildren: Lexi Morris, Myla Morris, Grayson Baker, Endsley Baker, and Everleigh Schmidt. Her beloved sister, Patsy Wilson, survives her, providing a lasting family connection and support. The bonds Karolyn created spanned generations, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire her family each day.

Karolyn was predeceased by her parents, William and Maggie Reeves; her brothers Ronnie, Tommy, and Jimmy Reeves; her sisters Christine Crawford, Marceline Underwood, Nancy Bates, and Jorena Morgan; and her son, Jimmie Lee Morris Jr. Each of these losses deeply touched her, and their memories remained with her always.

Known for her love of gathering with family and friends, Karolyn’s home was often filled with laughter and warmth. She found the greatest happiness in the company of those she loved, leaving behind memories of special occasions and simple, heartfelt moments that will be treasured by all who knew her.

Karolyn Sue Morris’s presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of kindness, hard work, and family devotion will remain cherished within the hearts of all she touched.
