Kenneth Roy Greenfeather

Kenneth Roy Greenfeather, lovingly known as Kiese, passed away on September 16, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on November 5, 1942, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, to Alexander Ed and Mary Jane (Brown) Greenfeather.

Kiese grew up in Skiatook and received his education there, remaining closely connected to the community that shaped his early life. He went on to serve his country as a veteran of the United States Army, a chapter of his life remembered with gratitude and respect.

Kiese was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Skiatook and for many years he also served as an elder there.

On June 6, 1962, he married Anna Marie Cryder in Tulsa, and together they made their home in Skiatook. Their marriage was an important part of his life and family story.

Kiese worked as a fitter welder for Builders Steel and Tulsa Steel. He was known for enjoying Indian crafts and painting, and for his love of building things. He also cherished time outdoors and, above all, time spent with family.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Blackwell; his grandchildren, Braiden Nokona Blackwell, and Caitlin Nicole Blackwell; and his sister, Shirley Sizemore. May their memories of Kiese bring comfort and peace in the days ahead.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie Greenfeather; his daughter, Angela Lee Greenfeather; his father, Alexander Ed Greenfeather; his mother, Mary Jane Greenfeather; his brothers, Alfred Greenfeather, Robert Eugene Greenfeather, and Ed “Diney” Greenfeather; and his sister, Georgia Mae Barber.

Kenneth Roy Greenfeather will be remembered with love by those who knew him and will be deeply missed.
