Lance Edwin Hale, born on April 28, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, in the same city. He was a man whose presence will be sorely missed, leaving behind not just memories, but a legacy of love and dedication.
Lance cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his children, Jordyn Hale, Tyson Hale, Brandon Hale, and Brianne Hale. He was a proud grandfather of six grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Terri Lyne Sappington, who shared countless experiences and cherished moments with him.
His career as a truck driver spanned over 13 years with SAIA, followed by a fulfilling tenure at Premier Trucking, from where he retired in 2020. His commitment to hard work was matched only by his love for life outside of his profession.
Lance grew up in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where he received his education, culminating in his graduation from Charles Page High School. His roots were deeply embedded in the community, and he maintained a connection to his origins throughout his life.
An avid sports enthusiast, Lance enjoyed playing baseball and softball and actively participated in a backyard softball league. It was not just sports that captivated his interests; he found joy in painting and lovingly mowed for his church, recognizing the importance of service. Lance was known for taking long drives and unwinding with his favorite show, The Big Bang Theory, which brought him laughter and joy.
Lance was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Lee Hale and Frances Ellen (Heath) Santamaria, who we remember as guiding lights in his life.
In a world where kindness and compassion are essential, Lance Edwin Hale stood as a shining example for all who knew him. His warmth, love, and passion for life will always be remembered fondly by his family and friends.
