Funeral services for Larry O’Dean Harmon will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at The First Baptist Church in Skiatook with Terry Staires and Destinee Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Larry Harmon, age 49, of Skiatook passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa.

Larry was born March 20, 1971 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Norman Junior and Shirley Ilene (Davis) Harmon. Larry grew up and received his education in Sperry graduating from Sperry High School in 1989. Larry married Shelynda Lynn Woods on November 18, 1989 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa before moving to Skiatook in 1995. Larry was self-employed with Strong Skirt LLC. He was a board member of the Manufactured Housing Association Of Oklahoma and a member of Life Church, Owasso. Larry enjoyed working, OU football, cars, and golf.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother: Shirley Harmon, and brother-in-law Larry Barnes.

Larry is survived by his wife: Shelynda Harmon, children: Zachary Harmon and fiancé Lindsey, Shelby Smith and husband Daniel, father: Norman Harmon, brother: Carl Harmon, sister: Brenda Harrison, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the service will be: “The Dance”, “The Other Side”, “It’s A Beautiful Day”,  “Man That Hung The Moon”, and “Oceans”.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Isam, Bill Cryder, Sam Tiblow, Kenny Reiss, Seth Stanton, Branton Postier, Dale Crain, and Cody Fuentes.

The family of Larry Harmon entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook.
