Funeral services for Lois Dean Colburn will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2017 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Butler and Kristopher Payne, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Lois Dean Colburn, age 85, of Tulsa, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Lois was born January 21, 1932 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Howell Grady and Buna Inez (Beaver) Agnew. Lois attended Skiatook schools. When Lois was in her 40’s she went back to school where she earned her R.N. degree. Lois liked fishing, gardening and bible study with her friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her mother and father, grandson K. Andrew Berry and twin brother Lewis Gene Agnew.

Lois is survived by her children: Betty Khoury, Janet Payne and husband William, Susan Laney and husband Everett and Lisa Sellers and partner Nathan Bryson, grandchildren: Karen Miller and husband Allen, Kimberly McCoy and husband Melvin, Kristopher Payne, Matthew Laney and wife Rebecca, Gabriel Laney and wife Julie, Marc Sellers, Mandi Sellers and Chrissi Berry, seventeen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, sister: C. Inez Epler, brother: Howell Wayne Agnew, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Matthew Laney, Marc Sellers, Kris Payne, Gabriel Laney and Allen Miller Jr..

Music for the services will be: “I’ll Fly Away”, “Precious Memories”, “In The Garden” and “Go rest High On That Mountain”.

The family of Lois Dean Colburn entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
