Michael Wayne Smith

Michael Wayne Smith, 66, passed away on September 19, 2026, in Skiatook, Oklahoma. He was born on June 12, 1960, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jim and Charlene (Delahoyde) Smith.

Michael grew up in Owasso, Oklahoma, where he received his education and graduated from Owasso High School in 1979. He went on to build his working life as a laborer and was employed by Tile By Randy. He will also be remembered for the enjoyment he found in skydiving and biking, interests that reflected his adventurous spirit and love of activity.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Smith; his mother, Charlene Harville; and his father, Jim Smith.

Michael’s memory will be cherished by his daughter, Jackie Brillowsky; his brother, Randy Smith; and his sister, Tonya Rockwell, one grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. May his family and friends find comfort in the memories they shared with him and in the lasting place he holds in their hearts.
