Thomas Edward Switzner, born on September 28, 1982, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Thomas E. and Lisa (Ward) Switzner, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, in Skiatook, Oklahoma. He was a dedicated man who committed over 15 years of his career to Wal-Mart in Skiatook, where he served admirably as Team Manager in Automotive. His work ethic and leadership were respected by many, and he left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to work alongside him.

Thomas was a proud United States Army Veteran, exemplifying bravery and dedication during his service. He received his education in Bellefonte, PA, where he graduated from Bald Eagle High School. Thomas furthered his education by obtaining his bachelor’s degree from Griffin Technical College/Southern Crescent Technical College - Griffin Campus in Griffin, GA.

In addition to his professional achievements, Thomas was a man deeply passionate about faith and family. He cherished the Bible and found joy in Bible study, often bringing loved ones together for shared spiritual growth. His interests also included singing, fishing, camping, baseball, and gaming, hobbies that showcased his love for life and connection with others.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Destiny, of the home, and their wonderful children: Ashlynn, Landon, Victoria, Ethan, Freyja, Akiva, Israel, and Rayna. His brothers, Aaron Havens and Wade Entz, along with his sisters, Emily Domres and Mandy Havens, his father Thomas Switzner, also carry his memory forward. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends who will remember him for his warmth and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Hester.

Visitation with family will be held on May 10, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1000 South Lombard Lane, Skiatook, OK 74070. A funeral service to honor Thomas's life will be conducted at the same location on May 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

Thomas Edward Switzner’s legacy of love, service, and faith will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be missed dearly, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of many.
