Funeral services for Thurman H. Bricker will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the A Glorious Fellowship Church in Collinsville with Pastor’s Lee Morgans and Candace Brim, officiating.

Thurman H. Bricker, age 78, of Skiatook passed away at his home Tuesday evening October 24, 2017.

Thurman was born February 2, 1939 in Stillwell, Oklahoma to James Ira and Jewel Marie (Brown) Bricker. Thurman grew up and received his education in Ponca City where he graduated in 1958. Thurman married Darlene Zora Burns on August 5, 1960 in Ponca City where they made their home until moving to Tulsa and then moved to Skiatook where they have made their home since that time. Thurman was a bricklayer and contractor from 1980 to 1995 when he owned and operated B&B Masonry / United Masonry from 1995 to 2016. Thurman liked old cars, racing horses, quarter horses and was an artist.

Thurman was preceded in death by his father.

Thurman is survived by his wife Darlene, two daughters: Debi Glover, Tami Kendrick and husband Steve, his mother: Jewel, two sisters: Jackie and Jolene, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “What A Day That Will Be” and “Stroll Over Heaven With You” performed by Cindy McGinnis.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Ronnie Glover Jr., Michael Glover, Steven Kendrick III, Howard Whitehill, Brandon Smith and Cody McCutchen.

The family of Thurman H. Bricker entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
