Gene Endicott, a truck driver, passed away on January 6, 2026, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 82. He was born on March 4, 1943, in Golden, Oklahoma, and spent his formative years in Idabel, where he received his education and graduated from Idabel High School in 1962.

Gene dedicated a significant part of his life to his career at Mercer Trucking, where he was known for his commitment to the job and his reliability as a driver. His work allowed him to explore the vast landscapes of the country, a passion that complemented his love of the outdoors.
