Visitation for Barbara January will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Skiatook with Pastor Jim Kent officiating.

Barbara January, age 66, of Skiatook, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at her residence in Skiatook.

Barbara was born January 13, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles Earnest and Betty Mae (Allison) Fisher. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook graduating in 1972. She married Jesse January on November 1, 1975 in Skiatook where they made their home. She was employed with Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, Preferred Pediatric Home Health and Interim Home Health. Barbara enjoyed camping and 4-wheeling and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father and mother: Charles and Betty, two brothers, one sister, one grandson, and one daughter-in-law.

Barbara is survived by her husband: Jesse, children: Michael Paul January, Michelle Elaine Grigg, and Audrey Mae Smith, brother: Charles “Chuckie” Fisher Jr. one sister: Stella Mae Harding, ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

 The family of Barbara January entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
