Benjamin F Compton, III, 51, of Skiatook, OK, passed away on April 27, 2021 in his home.

Visitation will be Friday, April 30, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sien Shelton Funeral Home in Skiatook, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on  Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Skiatook Church of Christ.

Ben was born in Tulsa, OK to Benjamin Fletcher Compton, Jr. and Lana Kay Compton (Horn) on December 20, 1969.  He went to school at Sand Springs, Ok.  He married Alicia DeAnn Banister on October 7, 2000 in Skiatook, OK.  He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Animal Science.  After working several years at Star B Ranch and P Bar S Ranch, he and his father began a family business in metal fabrication for the last 17 years.  He won awards as a high school state wrestler and was involved in 4-H where he held numerous officer positions and received many honors and awards.  He was active in his community as a volunteer fireman.  Ben was an active member of the Skiatook Church of Christ.  Whenever Ben had a spare moment he would be off on a hunting trip or fishing expedition.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  One thing for certain is he was always up for a good time with lots of laughter.    

Ben is survived by his wife, Alicia Compton, his sons, Benjamin F. Compton IV and Joshua Alexander Compton, his parents Benjamin Fletcher Compton, Jr. and Lana Kay Compton, sister Julana Bennett and husband Mike Bennett, and three nephews, Kelton Boyett, Michael Bennett, Jr., and Tristen Bennett.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin F. Compton IV, Kelton Boyett, Michael Bennett Jr., Mike Rose, Greg Fain, and Randy Teague.
