Betty Ennen Obituary

Betty Sue (Morgan) Ennen

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Betty Ennen, age 74, of Skiatook. She peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Sien Shelton Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the Ramona Cemetery in Ramona, Oklahoma, officiated by JP Morgan, with an interment to follow at the Ramona Cemetery.

Betty was born September 15, 1946 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Tom and Morene (Bangs) Morgan. She grew up and received her education in Ramona where she graduated with the class of 1964.  Betty then went on to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. On Valentine’s Day, 1979 Betty married the love of her life, Don Robert Ennen in Dallas, Texas. They decided to make their home in Irving, TX, where they happily lived for over 20 years. In 2002 they decided to move back to Skiatook to be closer to family and friends.

Betty was a manager of a 7-Eleven store for over 20 years and worked at Walmart in Owasso until she recently retired. During her free time, Betty enjoyed various hobbies like watching western tv shows, caring for flowers, watching birds in her backyard, and taking care of the family cat. But most of all she loved cooking with her grandson, Max. Betty was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Ramona.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Tom and Morene Morgan and by one brother; Ross Morgan.

She is survived by her husband, Don; her son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Debbie Ennen and her daughter Angela Ennen; her grandson, Max; her sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Bob Tate; and her brothers and sisters-in law, Tommy and Nellie Morgan; JP and Nellene Morgan, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

The family of Betty Ennen entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
