Brendan Allen Short

Brendan Short, 24 of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, March 20, 2023 in Skiatook. Brendan was born on August 18th, 1998. He was born to Brenda Clark & Travis Short. He was the third of her four children and the only son. Brendan’s older sister Kyrstyn, Kyle Hall and his twin sister Neely began life together in Edmond, Oklahoma. His younger sister Gracee was later born in 2005, to Brenda and Stan Logan.

Brendan grew up in Sperry, Oklahoma. He graduated in 2017 from Sperry High School. He spent most of his summers with friends and family at both Eufaula and Skiatook lake. After High School, Brendan spent time in Oklahoma and Arizona with those he loved.

Brendan was proceeded in death by his stepfather Stanley Logan, Great grandparents Merl and Peggy Hall, Dean and Rita Crawford, Uncle Chuck and Ron Hall.

He is survived by his mother Brenda & Stepfather Rick Clark, Father Travis Short, Sisters Kyrstyn (Cole Carr), Neely (Brannon Hussey), and Gracee. Stepbrother Justin Clark, Grandparents Charles and Barbara Hall. Loving Aunts Leslie Short, Lisa Hall, and Becky Denny. As well, as Special Aunt and Friend Brooke Grimmett. Along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and his beloved dog Ollie.

Those who knew the real Brendan knew he was a gentle giant. He had a huge heart & loving smile. He will be missed & our lives are forever changed.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Philip and Kelli Casey, Brendan (BR) Williamson & Dave Casey for always supporting him, loving him and being a TRUE and LOYAL friend.

Funeral arrangements are under Sien Shelton in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Services will be Friday March 24, at 2pm at the Sien Shelton. Kyle Hall will be officiating the service.

The family requests friends & family gather for food, drinks & fellowship after the service at Venue 210 located at 210 West Rogers Blvd Skiatook, OK.
