Carol Eller Obituary

Carol Sue Eller

On January 12, 1947 Carol Sue Dobbs was born in New London TX to DA "Pony" and Daisy Dobbs. She was the youngest of 3 daughters. Her sisters were Shirley Ann Dobbs Elliott and Patti Mae Dobbs Walters. She started school in Overton TX and moved to Skiatook in 1961. Sue graduated with the Skiatook High School class of 1965.

She also met the love of her life, David Earl Eller, by whom she is survived, and they were married March 10, 1966. They made their home in Skiatook and raised two children, Brian David Eller and Angela Renee Eller Henderson. She was blessed with a loving daughter in law, Rhonda Eller and son in law John Henderson. She was the proud grandmother of Ashley Eller Sodaro, BreAnna Sue Eller Perigo, Baylee Jo Eller Branscum, David Blake Henderson and Molly Kate Henderson. She was also very blessed and proud of her great grandkids, Collin and Brynlee Branscum, Kal Sodaro and Jaylan and Colter Perigo. She had a great memory and could recite Skiatook family names and relations between those families going back decades.

She worked at the Skiatook Tag Agency and Minuteman Pizza Parlor, later she would spend nearly 25 years working for Skiatook Schools. She worked in the original Snack Bar and was the Food Director. Afterwards she worked in Mrs. Jech's office at Marrs Elementary and the administrator's office. She and David were avid supporters of Skiatook athletics and were known by many. They were members of Immanuel Baptist and Lakeview churches. Her family is sincerely grateful for the outpouring of sentiment and memories spoken by all.
