David Stubbings age 59 of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday February 27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
David was born August 9, 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wayne Harris and JoAnn Marie (Canfield) Stubbings. He grew up and received his education in Skiatook and graduated from Skiatook High School in 1981. David married Joey Jean Waid on May 23, 1986 in Miami, Oklahoma and they made their home in Skiatook. He was employed as a CMT truckdriver, a truckdriver for Ferrell Gas Propane, a waste hauler for Kerr Environmental, and for the City of Skiatook Street Department. David enjoyed golf, umpiring, OU football, socializing, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
David was preceded in death by his mother: JoAnn Stubbings, and mother-in-law: Majel Shepherd.
David is survived by his wife Joey, children: David Allen Stubbings and fiancé Adrienne, Paden Stubbings and wife Kelsy, father: Wayne Stubbings, sisters: Cara Sien and husband Randy, Lora Walker and husband Joe, grandchildren: Lillie Stubbings, and Scarlett Stubbings, father-in-law: Dennis Shepherd, sister-in-law: Kamala Moon and husband David, brothers-in-law: Dee Waid, Reggie Shepherd and fiancé Shelby Fisher, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
