Donnie Ray Hicks Sr. age 79 of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday February 25 at his residence.

Donnie Hicks Sr. was born February 7, 1944 in Terlton, Oklahoma to Harold E. and Marie N. (Griggs) Hicks. He grew up and received his education in Skiatook and graduated from Skiatook High School in 1962. Donnie served his country in the United States Navy. He was employed as a machine operator, at Airpower systems, before retiring in the year 2012. Donnie enjoyed doing mechanic work, fishing, gardening, and reading.

Donnie was preceded in death by his mother and father: Marie and Harold, brother: Ronnie Hicks, sister: Loretta Imel, granddaughter: Bridgette Coleman

Donnie is survived by his children: Donnie Ray Hicks Jr. and wife Tanya, Catherine Irving and husband Richard, Emily Schreiner and husband Jason, Holly Robbins and husband Chuck,  seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Donnie Hicks Sr. entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
