Dorthea Faye (Desjardin) Howard

Dorthea Howard, age 76, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at her residence.

Dorthea was born July 23, 1946 in Great Falls, Montana to Howard Kenneth and Dorothy Leonore (Thompson) Desjardin. She grew up and received her education in Imperial Beach California and attended Mar Vista Highschool. On June 13, 1964 Dorthea married Billy Jack Howard in San Diego, California. They made their home in California and Arkansas before moving to Skiatook, where they have lived for the past 22 years. She worked for H&R Block in her younger years and for most of her career worked as a traveling food service manager and in the education service center for Tulsa Public Schools. Dorthea liked painting, drawing, collecting dolls, bowling, and horses and she loved spending time with her family.

Dorthea was preceded in death by her mother and father: Dorothy and Ken, daughter-in-law, Lisa Howard, brothers: Raymond Cole, Bob Cole, Randy Cole, sister: Marilyn Stewart.

Dorthea is survived by her husband: Bill, children: Debra Dorsett and husband Tony, Tim Howard, and Billy Howard Jr., sisters: Sheri Lingel, Linda Weninger, brother: Rick Cole, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Dorthea Howard entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook.
