Fay Spivey, age 85, of Skiatook, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Owasso.

Fay was born June 22, 1935 in Nippa, Kentucky to Linze W. and Edna (Issac) Castle. She grew up and received her education in Nippa, Kentucky. She married James Young in 1952 and later married James Spivey in 1972. Fay was a food service manager in a Columbus, Ohio hospital and was in food service at Central High Skiatook. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, mowing, and she was a member of the Methodist Church.  

Fay was preceded in death by her husbands: James Young, and James Spivey, mother and father: Edna and Linze Castle and siblings: Walter Lee Castle, LouVerne Burchett, Okijane Eidener, Jack Castle, Junior Castle, Thomas Castle, Charles Castle, and May Daniel.

Fay is survived by her daughter: Betty J. Tullis and husband Bobby, son: James J. Young and life partner Charles Melick, siblings: Willie Ray Castle, James Castle, Joyce Lee Stambaugh, Louise Burchett, Marilyn Stambaugh, Paulene Caldwell, and Pearlene Blanton, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Fay Spivey entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
