Foy “Jane” (Rice) Hare

Jane Hare, age 73 of Spavinaw, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, January 27, 2023 at her residence.

Jane was born July 7, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Emmet and Virginia (Thornton) Rice. She grew up and received her education in Tulsa. On February 6, 1972 Jane married Michael “Mike” Edward Hare in Tulsa and they made their home in Tulsa and Spavinaw. She was self-employed doing furniture upholstery for Hare Upholstery. Jane enjoyed karaoke and loving her family and grandkids.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband: Mike, mother and father: Virginia and Emmet, one brother, and one sister.

Jane is survived by her children: Michelle Bearden and husband Jimmy, Jeanie Rice, sisters: Sharon Carlin, Casey Corley, Ruthie Silkey, Carolyn Arnold, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Jane Hare entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
